Before you attempt a con you have to take pictures. Pics of
what you made, of where you think you want things to go this next con, etc…
Life was simpler when all I had was a camera with film in
it. All I did was point and shoot. I didn’t have to change any lenses or mess
with any dials. I had no clue what tungsten verses florescent meant… still
really don’t either though, as you will see with my pics.
I think I need a checklist in order to use my camera, a Canon PowerShot SX40 HS (and I have no clue what that means),
correctly to get good results. The first thing that needs to be on my checklist
after, is the cap off and is the camera on, should be what lighting am I under
or using: tungsten or florescent? At least I think that is what that setting
means. I know it makes a huge difference.
Watch as my slave bracelet ring looks as if it comes from
the fires of hell in these pics.
Oh and did you notice I didn’t even have part of my bracelet
in the first pic?
And then I change bracelets, noticed my mistake in
photography settings, and … wow, now that’s what a slave bracelet ring is
supposed to look like, except it’s blurry… T.T
Sometimes I can get really good pics of things up close, and sometimes…
Yet, I can also get pretty cool pictures, perfect for
pre-con exploits with great detail and still a fun pic.
Somehow though I still end up with pics that make me scratch my head and wonder how I even got something like that…
